APPLE VALLEY, San Bernardino County — November 4, 2026, 2 a.m. update. Scott Nassif remains ahead of David Dencker and Robert Andrew Lucero in the mayoral election, while Town Council districts 3 and 4 also have updated unofficial vote totals. All figures come from the county registrar’s Summary Report #4.
Mayor: latest reported totals
Scott Nassif has 6,808 votes (48.76%), David Dencker 5,114 (36.63%), and Robert Andrew Lucero 2,016 (14.44%). The county reports 19 of 27 precincts (70.37%) in the mayoral contest at this stage. The totals exceed the previous 10 p.m. snapshot, which this article originally carried.
Council District 3
Kari Lynn Leon has 1,534 votes (58.17%) and Ted Bohanon 1,100 (41.71%). The county reports 4 of 4 precincts in this distinct district race, but counting and verification after Election Night remain possible.
Council District 4
Curt Emick has 1,485 votes (55.93%) against Matthew Rutledge’s 1,170 (44.07%), with 6 of 7 precincts reported. This is a separate district ballot, not a townwide election involving District 3 voters.
What remains
Precinct reporting percentages should not be confused with the total share of valid ballots counted. The election office continues its canvass after November 3, and no result here is called certified.
